I am searching for my birth parents; I was born April 24, 1974 at St. Paul's Hospital, Vancouver, at 9:01 a.m., a baby girl and weighed 3640 grams.
Here is the only information I have about them:
Mother was nineteen at the time, Canadian of Irish and Scottish descent, Protestant. She was five feet two and a half with auburn hair and brown eyes.
The maternal grandparents were in their late thirties and in good health.
The grandmother was five feet two inches tall, with brown hair and hazel eyes,
She worked as a bank teller. The grandfather was five feet nine inches, slender, with dark brown hair, brown eyes and employed as a long distance truck driver.
The natural mother was the oldest of six girls. One sister aged fourteen years was five feet one inch tall, red hair, blue eyes. The others were thirteen, eleven, ten and six years of age. They ranged from fair to average in coloring.
The natural father was twenty years old, unmarried, French Canadian, Roman Catholic. He was five feet nine inches tall with dark brown hair and blue eyes. He had completed grade twelve and worked in the construction business.
The paternal grandparents were in good health. The grandfather was five feet ten inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. The grandmother was five feet three inches tall, with brown hair and grey-green eyes. The father had one sister aged twenty-four years, five feet four inches tall, dark in coloring grade twelve. Next was a brother aged seventeen years, six feet tall, dark in coloring, also in grade twelve. There were also another brother aged sixteen and another sister aged fourteen; both were tall and dark in coloring.
