I am the father of a boy born in 1980 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I believe the birth occurred in July, but I don't recall the actual date. The birth name we gave to this boy was Chantry Dee Jones. Chantry was born premature, and spent several months in a Utah hospital before finally coming home to us. We were struggling financially at the time, and could barely care for ourselves and this child. The state of Idaho ended up forcefully taking him from us in 1981, and we lost all contact with our son. All I know is that the state of Idaho ended up adopting him to some family they told us would be able to care for this special needs child. Due to financial problems, and the enormous stress from this event, we seperated and divorced not long after. Chantry had multiple health problems, ranging from mild to life threatening. If Chantry is still alive, it would be one of my life's greatest blessings to see him. If not, it would bring some sense of closure to me to know a little about his life after being taken from us. Any information would be deeply appreciated.
