I am searching for my birth mother, Mary Murphy. I was born on January 13, 1956, in St. Louis County and adopted by Peter and Muriel Pellin who owned an asphalt paving company and lived on Watson Road (Highway 66) in St. Louis, Missouri. Peter Pellin was from Bulgaria and spoke with an accent. He was short and wore his hair in a crew cut. I was told Mary Murphy was Irish and spoke with an Irish brogue, but that may not be true as my original birth certificate states that Mary Murphy was born in Chicago. It also said "father unknown" (I don't care at all about that). I was a 5 lb. 5 oz. girl given up immediately after the birth, I was told. |
