I was born 4/13/43 at Maternity Hospital in Minnespolis. My birth mother didn't give up rights to me until March of 1944, when I was then adopted. My birth mother said she came from Chicago to stay with a friend, Joyce Neal, prior to my birth and to get help. She stayed with Mrs. Neal for a few months. I was in foster care at the Catholic Infant Home in St. Paul and then to Mrs. Manske's home until I was adopted. I was adopted thru Catholic Charities. Due to the possible wrong names and mixed up items in my records, I am not sure of any names my mother gave, She called herself Rita Munson, she had been a clerk typist on a federal project, played the piano very well, her mother was from france and father from Germany. Her mother was an artist and died of stomach cancer in June of 1938. Her father died in October of 1938 from an infection in his gums. My father signed a paternity paper as Lawrence Edward Williams from Chicago. If any of this sounds familiar to you or your relatives, pleas let me know. I have been searching for many years, but to no avail.
