Any blood relative living in or around Esslingen. I was born June 26, 1952 and adopted by American parents. I believe my birth name was Christian Bayer. My father was an American soldier stationed near Esslingen. I was told I was adopted from a Catholic orphanage overlooking the Rhine. My adoptive mother died when I was young and my adoptive father was never truthful or forthcoming about any details of the adoption. I must have been adopted when I was approximately 1 and 1/2 years old.
I am traveling to Zurich September 1, 2009 and am planning a trip to Stuttgart and Esslingen. Unfortunately I have never been there. I do not wish to disturb anyones peace but would be very intersted in any information I could obtain about other siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. etc. |
