I unfortunately do not have too much information to go on. I was born on November 5th 1978 in Cape Canaveral Hospital in Florida. I was adopted through Catholic Charities in Cocoa Florida. I believe that my birth mothers name was Donna and that she had adopted two children of her own, but that was the info I was given from Catholic Charities, and I do not know the validity. They also stated that she was a brilliant woman, and that she did not chose to have contact, but again I direct your attention to the validity statement. My birth mother did write me a letter on the day of my birth; it was given to me when I was 18 years old. All of the identifying information had been crossed out, but I could make out that I was to be named Patrick. She also stated that she was in school to become a lawyer, which was the reason she needed to give me up for adoption. My adopted mother also told my wife that my birth father was a married man, and also a musician, but again I cannot verify that. I am now married with two children of my own. I am grateful that my birth mother chose life for me, and I have absolutely no hard feelings towards her. I want to make contact with her so I can fill this void. I am not an unhappy person I am quite the contrary; I just feel that there is something missing. I would also like to find out some family health history for the sake of my children. I am also interested to know if I have any birth relatives that would like to make contact with me. I would to have a relationship with my birth mother, but only if she chooses to, I would not force the issue. This is very vague I understand that. This is all the information that I have, and any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
