I am searching for any clues to the birth of Harrison Logan(Temple?)Wetherell born 5-3-1895 in Corydon, IA. We would like to know who Harry's father was? Harry's mother was Jennie(Eliza Jane)Temple,born in S.W. Iowa around 1880. Jennie was under age and not married(?)at the time of Harry's birth. Jennie's Mother was Margaret Bott(maiden)Temple,Ellis,Snuffin( married 4 times). Margaret Snuffin lived in her last years in Glenwood, Iowa. Jennie married Henry Beakler when Harry was about 7 mos. old and took Beakler name,living in Osceola,IA. Just shortly before Harry's 5th birthday was sent to live at the Iowa children's Home Society. In 1901,Jennie and Henry relinquished all rights to Harry. We don't know what happened between Jennie and Henry, but 1903 Jennie married Calm(the L is silent)B. Wetherell and got Harry back. Calm adopted Harry and took the Wetherell name. Living in Montgomery Co. Iowa, records indicate they were married in Omaha,NE. While Jennie was married to Calm they had a son named Harold Wetherell,which would make Harry and Harold 1/2 brothers.Jennie died July 25th 1909 of TB. Calm Wetherell then married Anna Claussen. Calm(40) and Anna(23) had 4 children,Ruby,Naomi,Hugh and Paul.Harry soon went to work for Will Kammerer in Imogene,IA. Calm finally died in Sweetwater,TX and was buried in Hudsonville,IN, where he orginiated. Harry finally married Amy E. Kammerer in Dec,1916. They had 4 children,Willard H.,Arlene M.,Donald H., Ruth N. Harry then died in 1930. If anyone has any clues to this mystery of Harry? Please contact me! Thank you.
