Seeking information about William R. Stipe, born Jan. 05, 1812; died, June 29,1848. He was my great-grandfather. My grandfather, John A. Stipe, was the only one of his offspring to survive infancy. He was born April 28, 1848, and died May 16, 1904. It could be possible my great=grandfather was born on an Ameican ship bound for England. He was married to Martha C Bodenhamer, who, after his death married Obediah Evans, in Forsythe County, North Carolina. |
