I am an adopted adult. Born 10th.July 1955. at St. Peter's Hosp. Castlepollard Co. Westmeath. Then I was moved to St. Patricks ? mother and baby home for unwed mothers , I think run by the Sacred Heart order. I was adopted from here in 1956. I may have aquired what could be my birth cert prior to the adoption name change. I think my surname may have been Singleton, although,this not stated on the cert. My mothers name may have been Niamh, this could all be untrue, but is all I have to go on. Any help would be appreciated | |||||||||||||||||||||
