Looking for Helen Cowan, by mother's birth mother. My mother was born in Texas in 1941.I have adoption papers listing her name, but nothing else from the court. I am also looking for my birth father, Elmer Burdette Askew and my half-brother, Patrick Askew. My father was stationed at Fitsimmon Army Hospital in Aurora, CO in 1961. After my parents divorced, I never saw my father or my brother again. I have one picture of my brother. He was approximately 4 or 5 years old when I was born. I lived with my grandparents in North Dakota after the divorce. The divorce occured around the time I was 6 months old; late fall 1961 or early 1962. Also, a third person I am looking for would be a half-brother born to my mother in North Dakota in 1956 or 1957. He would probably have been born in Fargo, North Dakota. My mother stayed at a group home before the birth.
