I am looking for my birth grand-parents. My mom was born June 16th, 1948 I believe in Nevada. She was premature and born to very young mother, so I've been told. The Heffner's "adopted" her and raised her. She was killed in car accident at the age of 25. My "grandmother" says there were no records, story she gives is a friend worked at the hosp. maybe Sunrise Memorial in Las Vegas and a premature girl had been born, supposedly my mom was just handed over to Edith and Vernon Heffner. BUT there is a birth certificate, yet is says the birth parents are my "adoptive" grand-parents. I've been searching for YEARS and my mom also searched when she was in early 20's........ |
