I am looking for info on the Frick family who lived in Franklin County, Missouri, and then moved to St Louis. I am hoping to find out who the parents of Andrew Frick are. I believe they are Andrew Frick and Mary Vogel, but I cannot prove it yet. Andrew killed his wife and shot himself in 1911. His children refused to talk about him during their lifetime, so info is hard to come by. Andrew married Emma Crawford in Franklin, Missouri, who he later shot. I believe Andrew was from Illinois and his parents were from Alsace-Lorraine, which is part of Germany or France, (depending on what year you look at.) Andrew and Emma's daughter, Annie Burton nee Frick was my great grandmother. She was adopted by tElijah and Mildred McLaughlin of Scotland. |
