I am a Male Adoptee searching for my Birth Parents. I was born 10/31/1960 at 1:01 AM in Paterson New Jersey at Paterson General Hospital - I think either the hospital or agency named me baby Danny. My birth Mother was 35 years old at the time of my birth, of Italian ancestry and was divorced in 1958, she had 3 Children born 1949 (Boy),1951 (Girl), and (Girl) 1953. Birth Mothers Father emigrated from Italy and was a Shoemaker; he died of pneumonia 12 years before my birth. Birth Mothers Mother was also an immigrant from Italy. Birth mother has Sister who died as a result of explosion in 1937 – Birth mothers family of Italian Protestant Faith. Birth Father was Jewish and a Chemist who worked at an oil Company (Possibly in NJ), he had a brother who was a Physician. Was adopted through the Children’s Aid and Adoption Society in South Orange NJ – on May 5th 1961. – Got all of this information from a background letter.. Would like to meet Birth Parents and Siblings – I understand this will take time and only would meet if Birth Family members would be comfortable.
