A son born in March of 1979, in Rockford, IL. Birth mother was 19 years old and from Southeast Missouri. Adoptive parents were from Rockford, IL. It was a private adoption; no agency was involved. I believe there was a physician, maybe a pediatrician, that was either the father or the father to one of the adopting parents. The physician was a colleague of a pediatrician in Chaffee, MO, that arranged the adoption through a lawyer. My mother told me she named him Christopher William. I suspect his last name was Collier, as that was her name at the time. He was either born in March of 1979, or early in the year 1979.
