I gave birth to a baby girl on Oct 17, 1972 at Toledo Hospital (Toledo, Ohio), put her up for adoption through Catholic Charities who assured me she would be able to look me up when she turned 18 & then Ohio closed the adoption records so she could not look me up. She should know I gave her up because I loved her enough to know I would not be the mother she deserved, I was barely 16 yrs old. The name on her original birth certificate read Rachael Ann Danyi, her father is Randy Duhamel, also of Toledo,Ohio. Adoptive parents were given the choice to change her name & issue a new birth certificate. I have since been in touch with Catholic Charities & on their reccomendation I filed required paperwork in the staes capital giving my permission to open up said records, but she needs to petition acess to these records. My name is Yvonne Bartlett, maiden name Danyi. I now have a beautful grown daughter by my husband of 33 yrs, & have always wondered about my first baby girl & wishe to meet her.
