I was born in the summer of 1953 in Veteran's Hospital (I think) in Syracuse, NY. The Veterans' Admin handled the adoption. My birthmother was 15 0r 16, blue-eyed, around 5'6" & gave a false name when she entered the hospital. I was given the name Katharine Jenny Spillane. I may have a brother or half-brother born about 12 -18 months after me. My mother's father gave the social worker a hard time because of the secrecy he wanted kept. Evidently he was a white collar worker. Basically, I want to say thanks & see who I resemble.
