Hi, I'm looking for my birth mother. I was born January 11, 1980 in Cleveland Ohio. I'm told that my adoption was a closed adoption therefore making it harder for me to find my birth mother. I was told that my birth mother left me a letter to read when I turned 18yrs old, the adoption agency moved and lost that letter. I was told that my birth mother was from North Olmsted, and when the family found out that she was pregnant, was sent to an unwed mother home to "have me". If I remember correctly she had 1 or 2 other siblings, and was between 13-14 years old when I was born. I was in foster care for about 5 mos before my current family adopted me. The reason for my search is that my husband and I looking to start a family, and I know nothing with regards to my medical history, and I'd like to tell my birth parents THANK YOU! Thank you for the best decision that they could have made about me.
