I am searching for my birth parents. I was born on 4/8/1967 in Indianapolis, IN. The information given to me from my adopted parents includes the following details:
1) My birth mother was in a masters program at a university-although the name of the university was not disclosed nor the area of study because it would be easy to identify her because it was unusual for a woman in the 60's.
2) My birth father was in a doctoral program and he was likely of Indian origin.
3) I was 4 weeks old when my adopted parents received me from the agency.
4) As far as we can determine, the attorney that handled my adoption retired long before the internet.
5) My adopted parents were in graduate school in Bloomington when they adopted me. We moved to NJ and then MD. I grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. |
