I am searching for information on J.W. and Rebecca Goforth. They came from Madison County, NC to Swain County. I'm not sure when but it was in the 1880's. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. They might have moved from here to Union County Georgia but I am not sure of that either. Some of their children were Will, George, and Wesley. According to some family members, Wesley was adopted and was a Ramsey.
