Hi,
I am looking for birth, death and marriage information and dates on my Jones Ancestors in the Oneida county New York area, particularly around Trenton. The names of the fathers of the two families I am searching are Robert Jones who emigrated from Carnarvonshire England and settled near Trenton in 1801. The names of his children are as follows: Sir William Jones, Margaret (who was married to Robert Evans),Emma (who was married to John Williams), Elizabeth(who was married to Hugh Jones), Jemima )who was married to Robert Owen),John, Moses (who was married to Dinah Davis), and Ann (who was married to Williams H. Owens).
The other family head is Sir William Jones, the oldest son of the above mentioned Robert Jones. He married Jane ? in London and came immediately afterward to Oneida County New York arriving one year previous to his father. His children are as follows: Robert Jones (married to Sophia Evans), Danile,Ann (married to Griffith Jones), Moses (married to ? Evans), and Margaret (married to ? Ketcham).
I also would appreciate any information on Robert and Sophia's children: Jane, Sophia, William E. S.( who had two wives during his lifetime, one being Morilla Hunt and the Other Minerva Hopkins),John Daniel Sampson (who married Emma Fox on 29 Oct 1865 in Iola Wisconsin),Cornelia R. (who I think married Archibald Dunlap Moore),and Sarah (who married H. Evans.
I have a birth and death date for John Daniel Sampson, and a birth year and Death year for William E.S.. Cornelia died 23 July in Trenton.
I would greatly appriacate information on any of these names.
