I am looking for the ancestors and descendents of Thomas Simmons of Stokes County, North Carolina in the time of the 1800s. He married an Elizabeth Frances also of Stokes County, North Carolina. They had a son Daniel Aquilla Simmons who was born October 11, 1872 in Stokes County, North Carolina, and died December 4, 1942 in Randolph County, North Carolina. Daniel married Della Nelson also North Carolina. She was born April 28, 1888, and died September 22, 1959 in Randolph County, North Carolina. Daniel and Della had the following children: Jesse Daniel Simmons, Peter North Simmons, Harry North Simmons, Frances Nelson Simmons, and Louise Simmons. I believe that all the children were born in North Carolina.
