my birth father Herbert Evans served with the english army from Feb 1915 until May 1920 when he was discharged after November 1918 he stayed on with the English Army in Antwerp Belgium.His service number was 356031 4381. He died here in New Zealand in 1979. His NZ death certificate describes him as having married twice. secondly to my birth mother here in NZ in 1963 and first in Belgium (no dates etc) There is nothing on his Army records about his marriage in Belgium which would have to be after his army service ?? I might have relations in that part of the world that I would like to make contact with |
