I'm looking for RAYMOND NICHOLS who married a Mary A. Roche in Brooklyn, NY in 1947-1948. They had a son Raymond (me). They divorced a year or two later, maybe never divorced, but my mother married a Jack Williams in 1949-1950, in Maryland, then they lived in NY.Thats why I think my parents never formally divorced. Jack later adopted me, hence my current name Raymond Thomas Williams. My mother and I lived with my maternal grandmother "Kitty", short for Katherine, who was from Ireland. My mother refused me all info about my natural father. A man named ROY NICHOLS stood up for Raymond Nichols at my parents wedding. Raymond Nichols was a Navy man and I was born at the Brooklyn Naval Hospital 12/7/1947. |
