I am looking for aunts and uncles on my mother's side. My mother was born Fannie Lee Steele on February 8, 1931 in Clark Co. KY. She was the youngest of 9 children born to a coal mining family. When her father died of black lung disease, shortly after her birth, her mother gave all nine children up for adoption to the Kentucky Children's Home (not sure of location). I only know the name of one of her siblings, a sister who was Nora Ellen Steele. My mother was adopted by Harold Streeter and his wife from Cincinnati OH and was renamed Patricia Lee Streeter. Any info would be greatly appreciated. |
