Looking for info on Sallie Elizabeth Walker who supposedly died about Aug. 1, 1927 in Cole Creek, Anderson County, TN. (Cannot confirm her death at that time, but know the children were taken about the above date) She left behind three children: Cynthia Elizabeth Walker age 7, Benjamin (Ben) age 5 and Maxine age 2. These children were taken by a neighbor to the Anderson County Poor House then taken by Georgia Tann and Fannie Elrod to the TN Children's Home Society in Nashville, TN. Maxine was adopted by a Dailey family in Utica Ohio immediately. Cynthia and Ben were taken to the Home in Memphis, TN. Any info or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joan
