I'm searching for my uncle who was adopted as a newborn around 1950 in Ponce, Puerto Rico by a man in the military. My grandmother later received a letter from New York with a photo of the baby. My grandmother was a young single mother of also two toddler girls ages 2 and 3 year-old. Her parents Marcos Almodovar and Mary DeJesus forced her to give up the child for adoption to the young man whom she believe his name was Emelindo Sanabria. The baby's name at birth was possible "Joel" Almodovar.
