I am searching for, my birth family. I am a female, born March 11, 1970, in Beech Grove Indiana. My adoptive parents, told me that, I was born at St. Francis Hospital. However, I suppose too, that I could have been born at St. Elizabeth's Maternity Home. Furthermore, I may have just resided there, with my birth mother at the very least. Whereas, I have no knowledge of their birthing capabilities, at that facility in 1970. Meaning, if the patients actually gave birth there. If anyone should know, please let me know. I was relinquished at birth, then put into a Foster Home. I was in Foster care, until I was about two months old. I am told that, my Foster Mother called me Julie. I have no idea if, this is of any significance. I was then, placed with my adoptive parents. My adoption, was handled through "Marion County Department Of Public Welfare." My birth mother, was 16 years old, and had a identical twin sister. She stood about 5'6 in height, and has sandy blonde hair. I am also told that, she was very artistic. My birth mother and her sister's birth year, would have been roughly around 1954. They were also born in Indiana. If in fact, they did graduate from High School, the year would have been about 1972. My birth parents, were unmarried, at the time of my birth. My birth father, was said to have been 19 years old. His birth year, would have been roughly around 1951. His High School graduation year, would have been about 1969. I am told that, he stood about 5'9 in height, had dark hair and dark eyes. Furthermore, he lived in her neighborhood. I have no further information, regarding my birth father. I am in need of, "current" family medical history only. Whereas, my child has experienced serious, unexplained medical conditions. As a result, sugrery was needed and performed in the Spring of 2007. More surgery may be necessary in the future. All of which, can not be traced back geneticly, to his father's side of the family. Thus, leading me to believe that, these medical probelms, originate from my side of the family. Please... help my child avoid any further surgery. Lastly, I unfortunately lost my loving, adoptive mother, in February of 2008, from surgical complications and secondary illnesses. Luckily, my adoptive father still remains with us. However, I have now suffered the loss of two mother's. Please, keep this is mind as well, when you read my story. I would appreciate any information, that anyone might have. Thank you... God bless you all... | |||||||||||||||||||||
