I have learned that my cousin Albert L. Simpson was actually born a Gamble and had his name legally changed in 1942. I believe he was adopted by John James Simpson and his wife Mabel Viola Bruner who may have been Albert's biological mother. All parties are now deceased. Albert was born 12 Nov 1916 in Pittsburgh, and the family always lived in Western PA.
