I'm looking for two people: First I'm looking for my sister-name given at birht by our mom was Valerie Victoria Friedman born May 26,1950 in Letchworth Village Thiell Institute. Our mother never agreed to have her adopted. She was taken from her,because my mother was a ward to the state and placed their because she was raped and the foster parents had our mom committed at the age of 17yrs or 18 yrs until she turned 21yrs old. The doctor's name that delivered my sister was Dr.Gitlin or something like that. The adm. name was Dr. Harry Stolls or Strolls. Our mom said that she remembers another doctor by the name of Dr.Campbell. Our mom's name is Lillian Elizabeth Friedman she is 72yrs old and she is alive, we live in Houston Tx. The 2nd person that we are searching for is my mom's mother or father. We believe that my grandmother's name is "Katherine "Katie" Friedman" and have found out that she may have been from Montreal Canada. Not real sure. My mom was born as far as we know April 12 1933 in New York and not sure of that. Perhaps her family was refugees and came across on ships looking for safty, because of the Holocust. My mom went to school in elementary at PS140-Queens Jamaca Long IsLAND, Jr./High School at Woodrow Wilson Vocation High on Jamaca Blvd. She was baptist by Bishop Dewolf at St.James Episcopal Chruch this was her foster family choice of religion. Mabel Lankford Campbell and Henry Campbell raised my mom. They didn't tell her anything about her birth or where my sister is . She believes they knew something. There were other siblings from foster care living and growing up with my mom. Rose Neal was my mother's Godmother she lived in Long Island I think. My name is Etoile and I promised my mom that I would try to find our family, we are a very small family and we really need to know the truth and where our missed loved ones are, so we can all know the truth and to let our sister and daughter know she wasn't given up,because she was wanted,but they took her from our mom. She has a brother and three nieces and one nephew and a great nephew. We miss you grandmom and valerie. We will not stop searching we love you all and miss you. We don't have any type of information on my grandfather. Or for that matter any one else in our family ,I imagine our family is very large. Crying out for any information or help. Thank you etoile
