I am searching for my birth mother. I was born September 18th, 1959 in Denver, Colorado. The name given me was Susan Theresa Avery. My adoptive parents changed my name to Denise. I was placed in foster care until 8 months old, at which time I was adopted. I was told that my birth mother did not relinquish me for adoption until I was 2 months old because she was hoping my birth father would marry her. I was also told that my mother was a secretary at the time and that my father was a printer.
