I am searching for my biological father and mother. I believe my b-mom to be about 65 years old. She was at one time in the state of Alabama, and she may still possibly be there but I am unsure of this. I was told by a searcher that her name was Gayle Tidwell, but she is supposedly married and now has the last name of Scoggins. My b-father would be about 71 or 72 years of age. He also resides in Alabama. His name is Robert O'Dell Reid. My mom is about five feet seven inches tall with a medium build. She has dark brown or black naturally curly hair. She has three other brothers also. She moved from Alabama to San Francisco when she was three months pregnant and stayed with a brother and his wife. My adoptive parents met her a couple of times while she was still carrying me. They took her out to dinner on her twenty-first birthday which was in August of 1960. My father had a brother and three sisters. One sister had been in a mental hospital for a period of time, but was eventually released. Sometime shortly thereafter she committed suicide. His mother had died a few years earlier from cancer.
