i am searching for birthparents and/or siblings. i was born in toronto, ontario at st. joseph's hospital in 1953. my birth name was magee. birth mother's last name magee. birth father's name kenneth pantelon. both birth parents born in ireland. at that time, my birth mother had 2-3 other children which are my half-siblings. at the time of my birth, my father did not have other children. my birth mother worked as a book binder i believe. she was a short, a bit stocky, brunette and in her 30's in 1953. my birth father was a tool and die maker and a musician (drummer). he had dark hair,grey eyes and was in his 20's. my birth father (who had recently emigrated from ireland with his wife)was a cousin of my birthmother's husband. my understanding is that in 1953 all lived in toronto possibly not far from eglinton avenue west and perhaps the vaughan rd, runnymede areas. as there were no foster homes available, my birthmother kept me in her home for a few months until a foster home could be found and my birthfather insisted on paying all costs until i was formally adopted at 10 months old. if you believe you may have some pertinent information please feel free to contact. |
