I am searching for my birth parents. I was born in February 1961 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital in Carson City Nevada. I went to a foster home from the hospital. According to the NON-Identifying information that I received my birth mother was married at the time of my birth but not to my birthfather. I have three half brothers and one half sister all of which are older than me. When I spoke to the State of Nevada Adoption Specialist she indicated that my birth family might be from California but I could not get her to confirm that information. I have reason to believe that my birth father does not know that I exist. According to the Social Worker, I had a "legal father" and a "birthfather". The "legal father" signed the adopting papers. I was in foster care for several months before being adopted. My adoption took place around August of 1961 and a new birth certificate was issued in November 1961.
