Looking for Birth mother. I was born in El Paso Texas on June 21, 1961. 6 weeks later I was adopted through The New Mexico Department of Public Welfare, District II in Santa Fe, NM to an A.L. and Martha Merts. I know the woman at that was involved in my adoption was named Mary E. Tenney as I located a letter from her to my parents - stating she had located a boy born on June 21, 1961. I believe I was picked-up by my adoptive parents in Las Cruces when I was around 6 weeks old. My "Birth Certificate" only lists my adoptive parents under "Mother" and "Father" and the city and state of my Birth (El Paso, TX). The only other piece of relevant info I have is that I have had all my life an allergy to milk and that after trying everything the doctors discovered that I could drink goat's milk (YUK!). Looking for birth mother, father or any other relatives. Would love to discover if I have any siblings or relatives.
