Can someone tell me if it is possible to identify the natural parents of my G.G. Grandmother? Chlora(Chloe,Cora)was adopted by a CAMPBELL family, possibly in Wayne County,IN. She was born abt. 1855 in Liberty? She married James Andrew MULLEN, son of William and Martha MULLEN and lived in Cambridge City,Wayne Co.,IN (1880 Census). My Great Grandfather Charles Andrew MULLEN was born in 1874. He had siblings Rosa Belle, Molly Elizabeth, Pearl(male), Orlex, Elizabeth(Lizzie), and William. They eventually settled in Hamilton, Butler County,OH. Chlora's burial record names her father as an A. CAMPBELL. No mother's name given. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks. |
