Gerhardt: My ancestor Philipp Gerhardt lived also in Alsace-Lorraine, probably Metz before coming in lower Canada as a soldier in the regiment Hesse Hanau company of Von Schoell in 1776-77. He married Madeleine Audet-Lapointe in Saint Nicolas Québec Canada in 1783. He was a shoemaker before the army and after. I am looking for the parents of Philipp and his birth date. Thank you. |
