Query Text:

SEARCHING FOR SIBLING SISTER: I am Carole Bryan from the United States searching for my sister born to a MARGARET "PEGGY" BAKER and my Dad, NEAL WILSON REAGAN. Dad was with the U. S. Army's 107th General Hospital Unit stationed in Kington. He met Peggy at the USO Club in Hereford. She also worked with the ROTHERWAS MUNITIONS FACTORY in Hereford. Dad shipped out on June 15, 1945 and she called saying the child was being born, but he was unable to go because his unit was leaving the UK. Does anyone recognize the child? I have found the birthmother Peggy and she will not give me any information other than she gave the child up for adoption, but she may have given the child away rather than having her adopted. On back of the attached picture is a message saying this is PEGGY AND CAROL ANN WHEN SHE WAS 18 MONTHS OLD and there is a studio DATE STAMP on back saying March 10, 1947. Apparently she was born in August or September 1945. I found out she had fallen down when she called in June saying the baby was being born so I guess that was just a scare. Peggy was born August 23, 1913 in Scotland. If anyone can help me I would be very appreciative as I have searched unsuccessfully since 1995. My email is PerkiCB@aol.com. Thanks!
