My mother! I recently found her response to my request made earlier this year. Now, I have no way of contacting her...phone, email, address...anything. I was adopted after being made a ward of Texas. I chose a middle name during the adoption and now I answer to 'Philip'. I have a biological daughter named 'Alexis'. She is 14 months old and I want her to know her real grandmother and I would like to know my real mother. Alexis' mother, Angela, and I are separated so Alexis resides with her mother. A lot has been missing for a long time and I feel like meeting my mother and establishing some sort of relationship will change my detachment issues (no, I haven't seen a shrink). My mother's name is Janet Whalen. At least that was her maiden name. I was born March 10, 1969 to Harvey Keen and Janet Keen (Whalen) in Brooklyn, NY. I'd buy air tickets tomorrow to go see her if I knew where I could find her. I feel a deep love for her and have forever...
