I am searching for my father's birth mother or perhaps some of her family. He was born August 31, 1936 in Macon, Georgia. His birth mother was named Genelle (sp?) Campbell. At birth he was named Charles Fredrick O'Neal. At one point after she gave birth, his mother lived in Florida--perhaps the Miami area. He was adopted by Edward "Buck" Calhoun and Emma Steed Calhoun in Macon, Georgia and was renamed Richard Dempsey Calhoun. |
