The first record that I have found for my Grandfather Amos McCally is that he is listed as a nephew living with John McCally and family on the 1880 Cencus in LaGrange County, Indiana. His Death Certificate shows the date of birth as 9-12-1867 and that he died on 8-5-1926 in Lansing, MI. Some of the family information handed down show that he may have somehow been related to the Simon Thomas family who lived in the LaGrange, Indiana area. Any assistance would be appreciated.
