I am in search of my birth parents and/or siblings for medical reasons. I was born Jan.3 64 in St Josephs Hospital in Houston.My birth mother named me Sydney at the time.My birth mother was admitted to the Florence Crittenton Home on 12-1-1963 in Houston Texas. Her expected delivery date was for 2-2-1964, but I was born 1-3-1964. Her legal residence was Austin Texas. She lived with her mother and stepfather. She was 5'4, 125lbs. green eyes brn hair and had very light olive complextion. She completed the 10th grade. Her vocational interests were to be a nurse. She liked to draw and swin and do ceramics. Her nationality background was, her father was part indian and her mother Irish-Scotch.She was 17 and an only child. Her parents divorced she thinks when she was about 5 yrs old. Her mother remarried and she called her stepfather "Dad". Her maternal grandmother she was extremley close too. In November of 1961 her mother and stepfather divorced, but her stepsister remained living with her and her mother for awhile until her stepsister moved away with other relatives. My birth mother describes her mother as "gone alot, working and dating. My birth mothers names is Donna. She met my alledged birth father thru a friend and started dating him in Feb 1963. She got pregnant with me and informed him in April of that year and he "got scared and joined the Service."Her mother was 40, 5'8 &140lbs.hazel eyes, drk brn hair,and fair skin.A HS grad and she liked to refine furniture and liked to write poetry.Her husband was 42 and 6'2 215. grn eyes,blk hair, olive skin.He was in a car accident and had hurt his back. He worked at Sneed-Texas Crush stone as a drag line. He built the house that she and her mother lived in. He liked to raise animals, dogs and chickens.my birth father was 6'0 150 lbs. brn eyes and brn hair. medium complextion. Completed 9th grade, and quite school in Oct. He joined the service in September of 1963. His nationality background is Northern European. He was white. At some point my birth mothers mother filed a statutory rape charge against my birth father and as he being in the serice at Ft. Polk Louisana, He was summoned back to Texas to explain this charge. After the interogation, he denied and my birth mother said that she gave a false statement to the police regarding this matter. There is more detail but I dont want to say, eventually the rape charge or accusation was dropped. My birth mother didnt want to recieve a waiver for the release of myself, and on January 16 I was adopted by my now parents, Theodore and Jean Channing. Who at that time resided in Bergstrom AFB in Austin Texas. The last known address that are in my papers regarding my birth mother was that she lived on a street Oak something, or Star Oak. She was married to Gary on November 1964 and divorced in May of 1965.
