My mother was adopted. The people who adopted her were William DePugh and Eva Snyder DePugh.
The adoption paper was in Des Moines, Iowa.
Date of birth September 28, 1908. The name on the document is Majorie Burideen DePugh. It says on the document place of birth, Plymouth County, Iowa. Register of birth Des Moines, Iowa.
On her marriage certificate it said she was born in Kadoka, South Dakota. Her name then was Violet .... she was six months old when adopted.
We would like to know who her real mother and father were. She had a brother named Joe Rumsey who was born in 10-21-06 in South Dakota. |
