I am looking for my birth mother and birth family. Her name is listed as Bernadette Conlan on my birth cert. She is from Co. Kildare. I was born in St. Peter's Hospital in Castlepollard Co. West Meath on the 8th of May 1960. I was given the name Mary Bernadine Conlan. My adoptive parents kept that name for me. I was brought to the United States to be adopted in August of 1962. The records indicate that she left the home in October of 1962. She would be around 75 years old now if she is still alive. I don't know if she had any other children out of wedlock or ever married and had a family. As the time goes by my chances of finding her are less likely.
