ELLIOTT, JOSHUA CLAYTON (My son's name @ birth) Born almost 3mths. premature on (DOB) January 17th 1995.Place of birth was KINGSTON ON. @ Kingston General but was released from Oshawa General Hospital (currantly known as Lakeridge Health)To my care.(Julie Lynne Elliott- D.O.B. is 05/05/1979) I was 15yrs. old and all on my own. Joshua's biological father is Ian Bradley Miller. whom was 23yrs. old @ the time of Joshua's birth. He was not present and remained uninterested and uninvolved @ that time. I had Full custody for the first 4 1/2yrs. The Adoption was done through CAS./Oshawa ON. Joshua was 5yrs. old @ the time. I (Julie Elliott)was 20yrs. old and @ a very confused stage in my life!!! I've always wondered if @ the age of 5 will he still remember me? My physical appearence Was (@ that time)5'8,Bleach Blond hair,Brown eyes,&130lbs. Joshua was blond @ that time and has Brown eyes. He was just begining to wear glasses. he was also diagnosed w/ ADHD shortly before going into care. The last words he said to me was "Mommy don't cry". I have very little information accept this; He was adopted by an older couple whom had no children of their own. They had been trying for 10 years for a child of their own then were placed on the adoption waiting list for another 5-10yrs. They live/lived on a farm in and/or around the PORT PERRY ONT. area. Joshua was in 2 different foster homes before he was adopted. He was made a Crown Ward and then Adopted. Also, my Mom's (his grandma)name is Janice. My sister's (His Aunt,she was approx.14yrs.old@that time) name is Ashley. There was just too big of an oppurtunity to deny him of. I realized that I couldn't provide him half of what was being offered, A (Stable)FUTURE!.. A chance to make "IT"! I'm aching to find my son! I hope we can build a relationship, but I have to find him 1st! I NEED to explain EVERYTHING to him, I'm sure he's got some memory of myself, and since Joshua will be 14 this Jan/2009 I feel now is the time to start.
