I was adopted shortly after my birth and I am 1 of 3 children born to my birth Mother - Elizabeth Anne Teresa De Ste Croix (nee Claire) from Jersey, Channel Islands (UK). Elizabeth was born in 1945 and died in May 2009 of lung cancer. My Grandmother was called Elizabeth Claire from Co Cork Ireland. She lived in Jersey from 1941-1945. I want to trace any details relating to a Dutch sailor by the name of Leendert Bowman or Bouwman, born 14/08/1907 in Maasliuf, Holland.
