I am searching for my birth mother. I was born on May 23, 1968 at Hotel Dieu in New Orleans. The birth mother was from Tennessee and the birth father was from New York and was in the Marines and left for Vietnam. I don't think he knew she was pregnant. She also named me Betty Jean. She didn't sign over consent papers until 1 week after my birth.
